A Norfolk Southern practice derailed on Saturday in Springfield, Ohio, Clark County officers have said.
That is the second Norfolk Southern to come back off the tracks in simply over a month, following the derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, on February 3.
The primary practice to derail was carrying vinyl chloride, a hazardous chemical that has made native residents worry for his or her well being security.
Clark County officers stated that the second practice was not carrying any hazardous supplies, and nobody was harm, in line with a Fb assertion.
County officers stated 20 of the 212 vehicles derailed, with 4 tankers carrying Diesel Exhaust Fluid Polyacrylamide Water Resolution.
They stated that these are non-toxic supplies and the crash was not close to a water web site, so there isn’t any concern for water air pollution, as has been seen after the East Palestine derailment, where over 43,000 aquatic animals have died.

The crash has brought about greater than 1,500 residents to lose energy on account of downed energy strains, with Clark County officers saying they’re uncertain of when this will probably be restored.
